Peanut House LeaguePeanut introduces young players to the game of lacrosse. There are three teams at this level. Each week there are three 20 minute half floor games with the off team practicing at the other end of the arena. A wooden goalie is used in net. Note: There is no grading for players in Peanut. This year, the Peanut Division will be comprised of 3 teams. The will play every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30 at Skyway Arena. Two teams will play a “game” at one end of the floor for 20 minutes, while the third team is “practicing” at the opposite end. After the 20 minutes, they will rotate. After another 20 minutes they will rotate one more time. The BMLA has wooden goalies that are placed in the nets for the “games”. We need lots of help on the floor for this division, so if you’d like to be on the floor with your child, please let us know. |
