Girls House League

The Girls Only House League Box Lacrosse Program consists of the following divisions:

Novice/Peewee is comprised of players born in 1995, 1996 and 1997.  It is an introduction to the game of Box Lacrosse.  Skill instructions and drills to teach passing, catching, cradling, pickups, checking, loose balls, picks, face offs, powerplay and man down.  Goalies are taught basic skills.  Spaces are still available in this division.

Bantam/Midget is comprised of players born in 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1994.  Skill instructions and drills are designed with the intention of challenging and improving each player’s skills including shooting, passing, pickups, cradling, catching, checking, loose balls, picks, face offs, power play and man short.  Team play and passing the ball is stressed.  Roles of players are starting to form.  We are still taking registrations at this time.

Intermediate is comprised of players born in 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989 and 1990.  Skill instructions and drills are done under game situations.  Skill development in shooting, passing, pickups, cradling, catching, catching, checking, screens, picks, loose balls, power play and man short is on going.  Players are taught how to play without the ball.  Team defense and player responsibility is stressed.  Spaces are still available in this division.
