- History
- There are many sites detailing the colourful history of lacrosse. The Canadian Lacrosse Association has A Short History of Lacrosse in Canada.
- Rules
- The Zone 9 Lacrosse web-site has Basic Rules for people new to the game of Box Lacrosse. Scroll down to the bottom of their home page to see the rules. The Canadian Lacrosse Association has a diagram showing the new floor and line markings for Box Lacrosse. Unfortunately, they do not have an electronic copy of the Official Rules freely available on-line. Fortunately, the Nepean Knights Minor Lacrosse Association has an unofficial copy of the rules here. Note: on Dec 5, 2002, the CLA issued Technical Bulletin 02/03-3 containing rule changes.
- Equipment
- The Ontario Lacrosse Association has provided equipment guidelines for both Field Lacrosse and Box Lacrosse (look for the Player/Parent Guide on their home page). CLA's Technical Bulletin 02/03-1 updates their Operations Manual pertaining to Section 12: Safety and Equipment.
